Environmental Project Officer

Catchment Solutions is seeking applications from project officers or coordinators that have experience in managing development and planning approval applications, Receiving Environment Monitoring Programs (REMP), town planning and statutory permit applications.

This role will primarily be working on our Environmental Planning and Approvals projects but will also have interest in our Water Quality Services and Ecosystem Rehabilitation & Repairs projects.

Fish Biologist / Aquatic Ecologist / Environmental Engineer

January 2024

Catchment Solutions are seeking interest from experienced Environmental Project Officers and Coordinators who wish to be considered for current and upcoming opportunities.
This role will primarily be working in our Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems team. Examples of the types of current projects that are being delivered include:

  • Fishway design and construction
  • Fish community monitoring
  • Electrofishing, netting, fishway trapping, underwater video
  • Fish barrier prioritisation
  • Spatial analysis, field validation
  • Fish habitat restoration – freshwater, estuarine and coastal
  • Engineered log jams, artificial reefs, wetland refuge pools
  • Waterway development approvals
