Jason Sprott Catchment Solutions Board

Jason is a Senior Executive with over 30 years of career experience. He specialises in master planning, sustainability, major project approvals, coastal planning, community engagement and corporate governance. Throughout his career he has worked in local government, a Queensland Government owned corporation, and the private sector.

He has been commissioned by both Commonwealth and State Governments and has represented Australia at various global forums including at UN headquarters in Geneva focussing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals relating to coastal / maritime development.
He holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (University of New England) and a Master of Science (Environmental Management) (Griffith University) and has completed Executive Education programs through Cambridge University focussing on Sustainable Development and Business.
He is a ‘Sir Winston Churchill Fellow’ having researched master planning, corporate governance, and sustainability through Asia, Europe, the UK and North America.
